OUCH!

Just writing a wee update. I've had a horrible toothache for the last 4 days which I'm hoping will be resolved tomorrow. I'm thinking a great deal about the coming holidays, yet am not feeling the excitement, nor warmth of the season. I do hope this passes, as I believe it can be a magical and tender time of year...
More to come... THANKS...
and HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL ~

Thank You Cynthia

This is me, well part of me, and the pieces I wear. I created the top pendant a few years ago and held onto it. It displays an Owyhee Blue Opal which I cut, shaped, polished and set. A wonderful individual, named Cynthia, requested a "sample" for a potential custom order with the use of one of my ripped hearts. This is when the second piece came into existence! It had been years since I created a piece for myself, and I'm so glad I did... here's a BIG THANKS going out to Cynthia - *** THANK YOU *** ~ I then decided I was going to keep a couple more!!! The last is two beach baby pendants paired together. One has a natural slanted cross within the stone, and the other reminded me of an Italian horn. There's something special about holding close a bit of yourself, and not always being the cobblers daughter that has no shoes ~

One of my favorite spots ~ The Corner!

It's a quiet overcast day. This may appear messy, but it's one of my favorite little spots to gaze at. It mellows my mind and opens creativity. Paintings/drawings are by "PUTT" Putnam, Sam Kirby, Erika Craig, Laura Ferrara, Ace Powell, and miniature by Tarra Lyons "The Nightjar". Ram Carving by Otto Pilz. Mixed Metal Bird pitcher by Los Castillo. Laura's "CASTLE" is the most recent addition and it definitely lightens the aura. (I should have removed my cases for this picture). ~ Keeping it real ~

Getting To Know Me

In A Distance
I've posted some pictures of my surroundings... a bit of my immediate area. I will likely move onto silverworks, as that is the primary subject I hope to indulge and discuss here. Albeit I am open to sharing other parts of my world.

Finding Freedom

Maybe my works will forever only be enjoyed or respected by me... since it has been the only arena not disciplined within my world... and apparently discipline is essential in art... but yet I know that everything is variable... or is it... if it must be, then mine is not art... it is only an extension of me... nothing more and nothing less... BE FREE to the fullest extent that you may be...
